I’ve been in financial services since 1996, and in 2009, I made the decision to specialize in mortgages.
Having worked across car loans, financial planning, and investment advising, I knew I wanted to help people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives: buying a home. My core philosophy is simple—build a business around helping people achieve their homeownership goals, rather than just selling mortgages. That mindset resonated so strongly with clients that within three short years, I launched my own brokerage to make an even bigger impact.
In 2018, I relicensed as a financial advisor to offer a truly holistic experience. Today, I can look at the full picture with my clients—incorporating retirement, estate, and insurance planning right alongside their mortgage options.
Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor, my focus is education. The mortgage world can feel overwhelming, but I believe you should always know exactly what you’re signing up for, how institutions differ, and why a specific strategy works for your unique situation.
Outside the Office
When I’m not diving into client files, I love spending time with my wife and two kids—whether we’re bike riding, camping, traveling, or catching a movie. Giving back locally is also big for me: I’ve served on our community hockey association board, coached my son’s team, and spent the past five years organizing an annual charity golf tournament for my high school. In my free time, you’ll usually find me camping, riding ATVs, or hitting the golf course!
